Children’s Safe Harbor….{The Woodlands, TX | Photographer}

The sweet innocence of childhood is such a beautiful thing, and it’s so heartbreaking when it is taken away.  I recently met someone very involved in a fantastic organization that is working very hard to protect what it is to be a child–carefree, innocent, hopeful.  Children’s Safe Harbor  is an organization whose mission is “to protect and enhance the life of every child who has the courage to battle sexual and physical abuse”.

I work with kids a lot in my job–I love photographing all of those beautiful quirks of each child, the curiosity they have about the world, their open trust, and their unconditional love.  It breaks my heart to think of those children who are so brutally hurt, all too often by the people they love and trust the most.

Children’s Safe Harbor is having their 5th Annual Dinner and Concert this coming Saturday evening at The Palmer Clubhouse.  Besides dinner, a band, and party favors, there will be a Silent Auction to which I have donated a Custom Portrait Session in order to help them raise more money for their cause.  If you would like to purchase a ticket to the Dinner and Concert, you can do so by calling Children’s Safe Harbor at 936-756-4644ext. 235 to confirm an available reservation.  Checks made out to CSH (tickets are $300) can then be mailed to:

1519 Oddfellow Street, Conroe, TX  77301

If you would like more information about Children’s Safe Harbor and/or find out how you can help by volunteering or donating, you can visit their website…www.childrenssafeharbor.org.

Just a few recent images that show the pure beauty of a child–something we definitely want to protect….
