Kali’s Senior Session {The Woodlands, TX | Senior Portrait Photographer}

Meet Kali–gorgeous, outgoing, giving, and down to Earth.  She’s a Cheerleader at TWHS, a Lifeguard at Rob Fleming, and an active member of the National Charity League.  It’s really uplifting to photograph Senior sessions–to see what our future holds, to feel the hope, the ambition, and the beauty of the unknown.  It reminds me to feel young, to keep chasing my dreams, and to make sure that my kids are raised to chase their own.  Looking at someone at this stage in their life is truly beautiful–all of the doors are open, all of the possibilities are so real and so close.  Good luck with whatever you pursue Kali, and thank you for reminding me of that feeling that anything is possible!

Also, a huge thank you to Mary who welcomed us to her farm to film the second half of Kali’s session–it was such a beautiful, fun, and refreshing location to use!

T.J.’s Senior Session {The Woodlands, TX | Seniors}

“They grow so fast”.  I know I’ve been told that a million times, and I’m willing to bet almost every Mom out there has been told that a million times.  And I’m also willing to bet that, like me, so many Mom’s have a hard time realizing how fast the time will really go.  I try hard to think about this on a daily basis and take it all in while I can–the cuddles, the hugs, the pretend play, the amazing changes that happen every day, the endless questions, and even the fits and tantrums.  I know that there will come a day when I look back on all of the exhaustion that is toddlerhood and wish that I had enjoyed the laughter, silliness, and constant time together a little bit more.  Finishing this session, and watching the slideshow with his Mom was another reminder to cherish each day and each stage of my kids’ lives.  She’ll tell you too that it goes by so fast, but now they are entering a new stage in their lives–to be enjoyed for it’s own laughter, it’s own silliness, and all of the new adventures it will take them both on.  Thank you for letting me be a part of capturing the start of your next stage in life!  And thank you for reminding me to enjoy the stage that I’m in with my own kids!
